It's too hot for a young pup to be outside. The concrete is just too hot for my puppy toes. Maybe a nice little eclipse could cool things off a bit. Just so you humans don't start glistening in the sun!
Make a date to come see me at the In & Out Party this weekend. It's July 10th @ 10am @ Central Bark (our Yuba City home). I'll be having a set of color charts you can make with ALL the new colors. You'll be able to stamp a project or two with the new stamps from the catalog that are arriving today. I'll have a few tricks & surprises for you too. I'm pretty sure we'll be giving away a $100 gift certificate from the Barking Board.
Then you get to go outside & get a sneak peek at the stamps & accessories before they go to the Rubbah Garage Sale in Sacramento on August 7th. (This is just what retired from THIS last catalog – there's more!)
Just let us know you're coming so we'll have enough supplies & prizes to go around.
In the meantime, here's a card that came about by accident. Ann & Del were stamping. Del stamped her Cherry Cobbler image differently than planned so Ann encouraged her to stamp them even more. They look kind of like lace!
It uses Artistic Etchings (Wood-#118517-Clear-#120573) & the new Stampin' UP! colors Early Espresso, Cherry Cobbler & Daffodil Delight. Funny thing! We don't normally stamp one color on another because it can change the color so it doesn't match the paper. But Cherry Cobbler is so deep that it still looks accurate on the Daffodil.
I wasn't too sure about this card, but it kind of grew on me. Hope it grows on you too.
Love the card, Ann! It grew on me right away! This is one of my favorite new sets-there is so much that you can do with it. Take care! Kathy
