2010-July4BBQI missed you yesterday!  I was resting up after entertaining 20 people (including 1 baby) on the 4th of July.  I had 3 chefs working the two barbeques for me.  Everyone brought a dish.  And what the most fun was that I was only related to Ann & Cecil.

It was all good, but those humans were out in 102 temperatures!  Being wise, I stayed inside as much as 2010-July4-FireworksDoneI could enjoying the lap of luxury & air conditioning.

The fireworks lasted TWO HOURS thanks to some special friends.  It was the longest show on our street EVER!  This is what most of the leftovers of that looks like.

Yes, everyone pretty much closes the street for the whole block so we can look at everyone's fireworks.  Fireworks don't bother me, but Ann still keeps me inside in my crate where I had my own little appetizer to keep me busy.

So – onto today's card!  We're using the 3-D Scalloped Flower on page 123 of the newest Stampin' Up! Idea Book & Catalog.  Make sure you're on our newsletter list so that you can see step by step instructions on how to make it.  And there's another project that you're going to love too!  (I didn't like the original picture & have since reshot it for better color)  This one uses the new Stampin' Up! 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch #119854.  I can almost smell the flowers!

Learn How in our newsletter!

Ann used the Stampin' Up! Perfect Punches set (Wood-#117022 – Clear-#120516) with White Craft Ink on Cherry Cobbler cardstock.  Love those Subtles Designer Buttons too!  She tied it with thinly cut strips of Early Espresso & Cherry Cobbler.
