Every Stamper Has a Story

picJust like dog lovers, stampers come in all shapes and sizes:  from beginners to advanced, from those who barely have time to pick up a stamp to those who have stamp rooms to drool over!
 .
Some of you are or have been where Ann was in the beginning…she just didn’t know how to get it all together.  For her first card swap, she folded a piece of Very Vanilla card stock in half, stamped 3 images & wrote Happy Father’s Day on the front because she didn’t have the right greeting stamp for the swap theme.
 .
Becoming a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator was the first step in the right direction.  Even though she’d been buying stamps for almost 10 years, she didn’t really learn how to stamp until she became a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.
So if you ever feel like you’re not creative enough – we’re here to tell you that it doesn’t matter because….
.

Everyone is creative!

Yes, everyone!  It’s not a creative bone!  It’s more like a muscle.  And the more you exercise that creative muscle, the better it gets!  We just can’t imagine what our life would be without the Stampin’ Up! business opportunity, our clients and our Demonstrator Community we call the 24/7 Stampers.  To date, she has helped over 110 stampers realize the fun of being a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.

Life is good!

Oh, and about Ann…

Born and raised in the Pacific Nothwest, Ann married her husband while he was stationed there in the Air Force. They moved to England for 5 years before the final move to Northern California with a Westie (West Highland White Terrier) named Johnny Walker in tow.  (Yeah, she has a daughter too, but this is MY version of the story.)
.
Ann’s always been one to be adventuresome in her career, but once she became a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, she knew she was where she was supposed to be.  She started with Stampin’ Up! in 1999 while working at the local ABC Affiliate television station.  Five years later, she got a unique opportunity to try Stampin’ Up! as her full time job and now she is ruined for working “in the real world”.
.
How could anyone do anything else when working is this much fun?!?  Since 2004, her Stampin’ Up! career has taken her places she had only dreamed of before.  Besides building an awesome team of demonstrator called the 24/7 Stampers and serving the best customers anywhere, here’s just a bit of what has happened in the 21st century:
  • Appeared on the Carol Duvall Holiday Workshop
  • Appeared on the local ABC and Fox morning shows several times
  • Earned the Heart of Stampin’ Up! award
  • Presented at 4 Stampin’ Up! Regionals
  • Presented at Stampin’ Up! Convention
  • She has served on the Stampin’ Up! Advisory Board
  • Placed in the top 100 8 out of the last 10 years (& twice in the top 10)
  • Traveled to the countries shown below on many Stampin’ Up! Incentive Trips
(plus an upcoming trip to the Mediterranean)
