Refine Your Halloween Cards
Not all Halloween Cards have to be Orange and Black or Orange, Purple & Black.
Make your own Halloween statement when you kick it up a notch with Sahara Sand, Early Espresso & Very Vanilla.

Quick & Fun Halloween Card Video
We loved yesterday’s Halloween card so much, we made a how to video to show how we made it.
You can find the post about the card here or check out this close up peek:
Get Those Halloween Cards Started!
Have you started your Halloween cards yet?
No?
Do you EVER send Halloween cards? It’s not the biggest card giving holiday, but the good thing about that is that your card won’t get lost in the masses!
Ann’s mom used to send her cute Halloween cards so that’s the kind we like to make.
The layout for this one was inspired by…
What a Hard Decision!
It was such a hard decision trying to figure out what card to share next. And even now, I’m not sure that I picked the right one.
The ultimate tiebreaker was the fact that something that’s on sale starting today made the difference on the card.
Yep. We’d finished shooting our video for the Master Stampers after…
My 5 Favorite Things on the Clearance Rack
Stampin’ Up! told us that they added stuff to the Clearance Rack last week. Did you look?
Here are 5 of my favorite things on the Clearance Rack. At least as of this morning – because once they’re gone, they’re gone.
This Week’s Funny Days
Tomorrow is Boss/Employee Exchange Day. I’ve been thinking.
What if I let Ann be the boss tomorrow?
As you all know, I’m the boss around here. Someone has to have a level head around here. Don’t you think?
I’m willing to give her a chance.
Here are other special days coming up this week…
Is There a Spider in Your Card?
I have to bark an apology if you got a spider in the card I sent you this month.
Oops! Do you see it?
Where Were You the Day the World Changed
Ann told me that there were two days in the last 50 years that changed everything.
The first was in November 1964 when President John F. Kennedy was shot. It wasn’t the first time a U.S. President had been assassinated, but it was the first time that such a tragedy was shown on TV and got such massive live coverage.
The second was …
No Fussy Cutting Here!
Life is better when you don’t have to sit and fussy cut all the pieces for a card – especially when you don’t have opposing thumbs!
Don’t ask me how I know.
More Quick & Fun Vintage Leaves Card
So last night our local Stamp Club made the card I featured in yesterday’s post. We should have taken a picture of them all together!
Same stamps
Same colors
Same layout
Same supplies
All of them looked different!
Quick and Fun Vintage Leaves Card
It was such a fine day yesterday! Ann made a quick and fun card on Periscope to share with new stampers.
It’s the perfect card to recreate because it’s quick and economical.
By starting off a pack of Crumb Cake Notecards and Matching Envelopes, you can create cool Fall cards in minutes. You could dress it up if you’d like (like with the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding that’s on the Clearance Rack right now or maybe some Brights Buttons), but this was something fast for a live online event.
Give a Halloween Treat Box
Are you planning your Halloween Treats yet? It’s a good time to start thinking about it.
Have you got all the traditional Halloween colors on hand?
Interesting Days Ahead
There are some interesting days ahead this week. It’s not just a short week to work.
Get Your Boo On!
Are you surprised? We somehow skip Halloween some years and get right into Christmas. (We’re still getting into Christmas this month.)
This year, we couldn’t help but get our Boo on. There are so many grrrrrreat Fall and Halloween stamp sets and accessories in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog that we just had to share!
And with all that candy, who could skip Halloween with a clear conscience?
