This Week’s Funny Days
Tomorrow is Boss/Employee Exchange Day. I’ve been thinking.
What if I let Ann be the boss tomorrow?
As you all know, I’m the boss around here. Someone has to have a level head around here. Don’t you think?
I’m willing to give her a chance.
Here are other special days coming up this week…
Is There a Spider in Your Card?
I have to bark an apology if you got a spider in the card I sent you this month.
Oops! Do you see it?
Where Were You the Day the World Changed
Ann told me that there were two days in the last 50 years that changed everything.
The first was in November 1964 when President John F. Kennedy was shot. It wasn’t the first time a U.S. President had been assassinated, but it was the first time that such a tragedy was shown on TV and got such massive live coverage.
The second was …
No Fussy Cutting Here!
Life is better when you don’t have to sit and fussy cut all the pieces for a card – especially when you don’t have opposing thumbs!
Don’t ask me how I know.
More Quick & Fun Vintage Leaves Card
So last night our local Stamp Club made the card I featured in yesterday’s post. We should have taken a picture of them all together!
Same stamps
Same colors
Same layout
Same supplies
All of them looked different!
Quick and Fun Vintage Leaves Card
It was such a fine day yesterday! Ann made a quick and fun card on Periscope to share with new stampers.
It’s the perfect card to recreate because it’s quick and economical.
By starting off a pack of Crumb Cake Notecards and Matching Envelopes, you can create cool Fall cards in minutes. You could dress it up if you’d like (like with the Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding that’s on the Clearance Rack right now or maybe some Brights Buttons), but this was something fast for a live online event.
Give a Halloween Treat Box
Are you planning your Halloween Treats yet? It’s a good time to start thinking about it.
Have you got all the traditional Halloween colors on hand?
Interesting Days Ahead
There are some interesting days ahead this week. It’s not just a short week to work.
Get Your Boo On!
Are you surprised? We somehow skip Halloween some years and get right into Christmas. (We’re still getting into Christmas this month.)
This year, we couldn’t help but get our Boo on. There are so many grrrrrreat Fall and Halloween stamp sets and accessories in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog that we just had to share!
And with all that candy, who could skip Halloween with a clear conscience?
Quick & Cute Halloween Bag
sn’t this such a quick and cute Halloween gift bag? Ann brought it home from the shoebox swap on Sunday.
Bringing it home flat to finish at home was the smart thing to do because 3-D things don’t always travel so well if you want a pristine project to share.
New Holiday Catalog Video
When Ann went to the Shoebox Swap on Saturday, she had done all the stamping on her project. All the stampers had to do was assemble the layers and attach the pearl.
But some people wanted to know how we did it, so we figured we’d make a technique video to share how to make a Fall Rainbow Card.
Fall Holiday Sneak Peek
So now Ann’s back from the stamp soiree she attended with some 24/7 Stampers and about 23 other demonstrators from Northern California.
They had a shoebox swap where everyone makes each others’ cards. They put the supplies in shoebox sized boxes so that’s why they call them shoebox swaps.
Here is Ann’s card made with the new Lighthearted Leaves from the new Holiday Catalog.
Celebrating Dog Days
We may have missed celebrating the official Dog Day this week, but every day is Dog Day here at Central Bark!
First, I think we fixed our feed so that many of you who have been missing our daily blog updates in your email box could have up to 10 of them delivered today.
Then we got a really nice …
Celebrating Excitement
Can you remember the last time you accomplished something? Was it…
Finishing a race?
Doing well at school?
Completing a project?
Isn’t it nice to be recognized? To be appreciated for your achievement?
Here’s a card that Ann received for
Handmade Envelopes
Have you ever had a card that was not a standard size? Did you ever have to make your own envelope?
Stampin’ Up! makes FABULOUS A2 envelopes, since the 25% off sale for the Envelope Punch Board ends tonight, we thought we’d do that on purpose!
