Easy & Elegant Spotlight Card

How do you think that Ann decided to make an easy and elegant spotlight card on yesterday’s live stream?

Sometimes a card idea just hits you like a lightening bolt – or a dog sending you pup-o-graphic messages.

What inspires you?

Ann had prepped part of the card and then let the viewers decide the colors. (That’s not as easy as you think when they’re all over the United States.) But it was fun!

Ann didn’t totally finish the card on the show, but it was almost done.

Here’s How She Finished the Spotlight Card

The more I look at this card, the more I like it – even though she could never decide on a greeting. Actually, she pretty much decided that she liked it better without a greeting. She wanted as much of that beautiful Distressed Gold Paper to show through as possible.

She tested some ribbon and she didn’t like that either.

All she did was add two Opal Rounds in the top left corner. It was just enough to finish it off.

What do you think?

Some liked the Basic White card base. Some wanted Old Olive.

They were both good choices, but someone had to choose and Ann wasn’t listening to me.
