Oh, the fun we had yesterday celebrating Domino and our canine friends along with some of our favorite stampers. Turquoise Fall Cards were on our agenda.
Ann called it Domino’s birthday bash, but it was really something to celebrate our clients. That is, any of them that could come.
They made a card together and then played some games gave 3 prizes worth $150. The value of the 4th prize depends on what the winner wants.
And it was a free event!
Here’s the card that Ann made along with them using Bermuda Bay, Early Espresso and Sahara Sand.
Everyone at home made their version with stamps, inks and papers of their choosing. And they all came out so beautiful!
This wasn’t the original card that Ann made with this layout. She originally made it using the same colors plus Cajun Craze. In this case, she only used the Season of Chic set. (In the first one, the main greeting is from the Hello Harvest bundle.) Plus the border layer is a 1/4″ wider.
So, which one do you like best?
That second one I showed you is pretty vibrant. But it’s pretty amazing how minor changes using pretty much the same supplies can make such a dynamic difference.
Yes, there was a vast array of colors used, both old and new. But we just kept to the same ink pads and colors.
I do think I like the paler one best – not my normal selection.
We just got our first rain here in quite some time during the past 24 hours. All last night, it would pour for a while. Then it would rain lightly. Then the buckets of water would start again.
Fall is Here!
