But about that mojo thing…. This is probably the busiest birthday card we’ve ever made. I’m going to tell you that I was asleep while Ann was trying to exercise her creative bone. What WAS she thinking?
Maybe it’s because we don’t do yellow around here much. But Ann got one of those cool kits as a gift when she went to the Stampin’ Up! Leadership Conference in Orlando last week. She’s been wanting the Hooray It’s Your Day Project Kit ever since she saw it in the Occasions Seasonal Catalog.
It’s not because you can make 20 unique cards with it. What she really wanted was the two templates to use for sponging. They’re plastic so you can use them long after you make the 20 cards.
And Stampin’ Up! ALWAYS give you extra on the ribbon. Like – I’m sure you’re going to have extra Washi Tape left over
Do you see where she made the sun rays in the background? And many of those balloons that look black are actually GOLD! That’s because the Birthday Bash Designer Series Paper is really a SPECIALTY paper.
But the card is still a little busy. Might take some time to grow on me. But it sure was nice that the Big Day stamp set was free with a $50 order! It’s perfect for birthday cards!
It’s good not to get stuck in a rut. If you’d like to try any of these products or get more details, just click on any picture. I highly recommend that card kit and matching stamp set. We didn’t use the set with this project, but it will help with the rest of the kit cards.
