If I Made a Card for Ukraine

If I were to make a card for Ukraine, this card would be the one. In fact, Ann pulled this out just for that reason.

Ann did a lot of coloring with Stampin’ Blends last night. While she doesn’t do a lot of coloring, she does find coloring with our Stampin’ Blends soothing when times are ruff.

While there may be a lot of things to think about these days, she just turns on the craft room TV on something other than the news and stamps and colors. Of course, that’s after she puts away the mess from the last time she stamped. (If you’ve ever watch us live, you know that Ann gets inspired for projects while she’s cleaning up.)

Go figure!

So here’s what she came up with last night while praying for Ukraine.

How did she color the sunflower?

For the center, she used the Light and Dark Cinnamon Cider with a few touches of Dark Calypso Coral.

For the petals, she colored with Dark Daffodil Delight and then highlighted with Light Pumpkin Pie. Then she went over it again with the Dark Daffodil Delight.

She stamped the leaves in Old Olive onto Old Olive cardstock. Then she took a Blender Pen and swirled the color around a bit.

And the greeting came from the Flowering Rainboots set.

Please be aware that the Polished Dots aren’t in stock right now but are expected (hopefully) the week of March 21st.

But the secret good thing about this card is that this card fits inside of a standard Medium Envelope.

March Mystery Card & Games Party

Can you believe that we’re doing our 15th Mystery Card Party? Yes, sirree, human! And we’re moving it up a week just in case you have other plans for St. Patrick’s Day!

It’s a really fun night. Everyone makes a card along with Ann so it doesn’t stay a mystery for long. And sometimes, during the break, anyone who wants to share their dog or cat, they do.

We’ve met some pretty cute dogs and a fine cat or two.
