Circle Thanks from a Free Template

Did you celebrate World Card Making Day with us? They offered a free template so we made a Circle Thanks card using it as inspiration.

First, here’s what we made.

Now, I’m sure you’re not surprised that we changed it up a bit. That’s just how we roll around here. There’s something about having odd numbers of things on your card front. We upped it to 5 circles and added 3 embellishments.

Do you like it? Here’s the original sketch that Stampin’ Up! came up with.

The good thing about layouts or sketches, is that you don’t have to make your card exactly like them. You can if you want, but you don’t have to.

And we didn’t.

If you noticed, we also put the circles on a layer instead of on a flat card front.

And Here’s Some Good News!

We cut all those circles out of a 2-1/2″ x 12″ piece of patterned paper! That means that you could make 4 cards out of a piece of 12″ x 12″ paper. But if you cut them larger instead of a strip, you could make more.

You could probably get at more cards if you cut a 6″ x 12″ piece because you could cut the circles closer together.
