We’re featuring an easy to make card today. It’s easy to make like our tutorials that we include in our weekly newsletter.

You could make 6 cards from one sheet of patterned paper using this cardmaking idea. That is, if you did like we did – we used one piece that we cut into strips and then flipped the ends.

The two outside pieces are 1-1/4″ x 3-3/4″. The one in the middle is 2-1/4″ x 3-3/4″. They’re flipped sides of same piece of patterned paper that started out at 4-3/4″ wide by 3-3/4″ tall.

The card base is a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ piece of the new Crisp Cantaloupe folded in half to 5-1/2″ wide by 4-1/4″ tall. the layer in between the card base and the patterned paper is 5-1/4″ by 4″. It’s Calypso Coral.

What I Like About Card Making

There are several things that I like about card making and Ann agrees with me.

You can take this layout and make very different cards with it.

You can make cards in the favorite colors of the recipient.
Turn a birthday card into a get well card just by changing the greeting.
