Ann used a special fun fold idea she picked up in March to make a special graduation card for Elizabeth. She saw it at the Stampin’ Up! convention in Long Beach. (They now call them On Stage, but to us, it’ll always be convention.)

But before I get into that, I must take a moment to tell you that today is the last day you can join Stampin’ Up! and get all 5 new IN Color Ink Pads added to your Starter Kit for free! You’ll get up to $125 in your choice of product for just $99 plus tax. (free shipping) They’ll add the 5 new IN Color Ink Pads in the new style automatically.

Or if you prefer, you can choose an additional $35 in product instead. That’s a total of $160 in products to start your new adventure!

A Special Graduation Card

Ann made this for our friend Elizabeth who is going to start training at our local community college to train to be a Vet Tech. They went to her graduation Friday night and to a celebratory party for her last night.

You would think that Ann would make a card with dogs on it. Or maybe chickens because Elizabeth raises chickens in her back yard. (Ann said they were cute.) But instead, Ann chose this fun fold.

It looks like a plain card, but it’s not. For one thing, it uses the Phases & Frames bundle along with the new Impressions Pad to make the gold label have extra dimension.

But that’s not all!

The label slips through a hole in the card front.

Ann doesn’t normally do this, but she used – GASP! – retired products on this to keep it “animal friendly”. Perhaps you have some of these in your stash:

  • Brass Butterflies
  • Rainbow Adhesive-Backed Dots

We used those dots because, if you look closely, you can see a little piece of Pool Party on the inside of the fun fold. That way, we could tie in some of that to the outside of the card.

Ann wrote personal wishes and a message on a piece of Basic White that was cut with the second largest die from the Beautifully Celebrated Dies.
