Another Quick Halloween Card

Would you believe that we took many of the same supplies from yesterday’s card to make today’s card?

Yep! we only changed the card base – for the most part.

I’ve been looking at this owl for a while. I don’t normally like birds in my yard, but I’ve been wanting to put this owl in the tree that’s in the Spooky Cat Designer Series Paper.

And now I’ve done it!

If you were in a hurry, you wouldn’t have to color the owl’s feathers like we did. And instead of hand coloring the feet and the beak, you could use the stamp that’s in the Spooky Cat stamp set.

And do you see the little mouse that the owl has his eye on? We stamped him in Soft Suede onto the Soft Suede card base to help him hide a little better. We definitely don’t want that owl flying off the card to eat him when we’re not looking!

Did you know that the full moon in September is called a Corn Moon? The one in October is called a Harvest Moon. I learned all this when looking over Ann’s shoulder when she was checking out www.almanac.com – the online version of the old Farmers’ Almanac.
