Pretty Pink Birthday Tag Card

Ann and my favorite huMAN went to a birthday party for an 8 year old this weekend. Ann made a pink birthday tag card with pink dogs on it and all in all had a great time. What a hoot!

They learned that Barbie is still great for 8 year olds. Oh, and so are fart guns. (I guess it has something to do with those Minion fellas.

Ann’s mission was to use stamps that she hadn’t used before. Or at least had only used them once. Our birthday girl had met me and Domino, the apprentice, at separate times during her life, so dogs it is.

Here’s the funny thing: Ann had my favorite huMAN write something about having a “doggone good birthday”. Apparently 8 year olds haven’t heard that phrase.

Do you think Ann’s starting to show her age?

Do You Recognize the Tag?

It’s new! It’s part of a bundle, but we only used the dies, the Iconic Imagery Dies.

Ann stamped the greeting in Early Espresso onto some Very Vanilla cardstock and then die cut the large tag. Then she die cut a second tag the same size out of Pretty in Pink.

Once that was done, she got out her Paper Snips and cut across the top and the bottom like you see in the pictures. And now she’s got another Pretty in Pink tag to use later.
