Monochromatic Tent Card

We were thinking of making a sepia like card, but instead, made a Monochromatic Tent Card. I still like it, but we’ll be thinking about making another attempt at a sepia like card.

Now, fancy fold cards like tent cards can be challenging to take pictures of. So I hope you’ll understand how we’re doing our be here to share this.

You see, we normally take our pictures with our card standing up. But this picture is leaning against the back wall of our photo area.

Then we tried with the card standing up. (We probably could’ve done better.)

So, You Get the Picture, Right?

Have you guessed the two colors we used? Pebbled Path and Basic Beige. A sepia-like card would use something like Copper Clay. Or what color combination would you use?

We happen to like this card. We’ve been wanting to make a tent card for awhile and this is what we came up with.

Ann used the Small Blending Brush again to apply Pebbled Path ink onto the dry-embossed 2″ piece of Pebbled Path cardstock.

And on the other side, she stamped the large stamp from Layers of Beauty full strength onto the upper right corner. But she stamped off the Pebbled Path ink when she stamped the flowers around the greeting. (well, one accidentally got on there full strength, but that’s okay.
