Not Your Average Sympathy Card

Do you find that a sympathy card is challenging to make? It can be.

But once we saw the greetings in the Sending Support stamp set, we were inspired to make the card we’d been dragging our feet to make. It just seemed to say what we wanted to say.

Now, it’s quite possible that the recipient will see this, but we’re hoping she knows just how special she is. And, more important, that we’re thinking of her during this difficult time.

So Here’s the Card

All the stamps, dies and embossing folder were used for the first time on today’s card. The stamps, dies and embossing folder are all featured in our 2023 January to April Mini catalog.

She used a different way of coloring the bird using strokes in feathery places more than blending how she usually does with the Stampin’ Blends.

And it’s pretty rare that Ann used Crumb Cake and Sahara and on the same card. But she didn’t want to use blue for the background.

Some cards look better on camera. Some cards look better in person. I think this one looks better in person.
