I surely didn’t think that I’d have to come up with another sympathy card idea for Ann to make so soon. This one is for the newest member of our East Coast relatives. She just married into the family and not her dad has passed away.
I hope that this card lets her know that we’re thinking of her and provides some comfort.
You might even have the Vintage Leaves stamp set in your stamp stash. It’s a classic! And the Better Together stamp set is bound to be another classic because it has greetings for the inside as well as the outside of the card.
Yes, whenever we use this set, this color combination is our go to set of inks and papers that we use. I’m sure we’ve switched it up over the years, but this just seems to work so well:
- Old Olive
- Cherry Cobbler
- Pumpkin Pie
- Early Espresso
- Crumb Cake
MY one cardmaking tip is that next time I would cut the shape out of Very Vanilla BEFORE stamping instead of AFTER stamping. I think that we would get the perfect color mix that way.
Did you notice the little Old Olive heart we put on from the Brights Enamel Shapes? Cherry Cobbler just didn’t seem to be the right color to add this time. A nice gold one would be nice from the Metallic Enamel Shapes.
I wonder if it’s too late.
