Kathy wrote a comment that she liked my color combination on yesterday’s card. (I LOVE to hear from you fans!)
We’ve got a First Birthday card to make so let’s do something with a slightly different combination that starts off with the Berry Burst that we used yesterday.
Because let’s face it! The birthday card is really for the parents because babies don’t read!
We didn’t like the colors initially, but as they dried, the pinks just kind of united. Here’s what we used:
- Berry Burst
- Powder Pink
- Old Olive
- Pear Pizzazz
- Crumb Cake
- Tuxedo Black Memento Ink
Next time, I’d like to do this same color combo with this save Painted Harvest stamp set onto Very Vanilla, but I thought Very Vanilla would’ve made this card a bit too adult for the occasion.
I mean, is there such a thing a vintage babies? I know there aren’t any vintage puppies – unless you’re looking at ones with wrinkles.
I’d also like to put a little Wink of Stella on there to put a little glam on the Whisper White version.

Ok, I may or may not be stealing this idea….my twin granddaughters have birthdays in two weeks. (Thanks!)
