Wasn’t yesterday fun? How cool was it to watch Ann run around the house with her Basic Black and Whisper White cardstock to get a peek at the eclipse.
We were in an 81% area so it wasn’t really a good idea to look at the eclipse even when it was as covered as it was going to get. That’s okay. She lived in the 99.97% area in 1979. (But I don’t think I was supposed to tell you that.)
So I figured that makes today the perfect day for a sneak peek from the Holiday Catalog that those of you who shop with us should be receiving this week.

Honestly, I like both versions. You could even take off the 1/8″ Old Olive Sheer Ribbon that we used in yesterday’s card too and I’d still like it.
Here’s what we did by stamping the leaf detail stamp in Old Olive onto Old Olive cardstock. Then we used the punch that is part of the bundle that is available starting September 1st.
In case you were wondering, the stamp set is called Painted Harvest.
So which one do you prefer? With the extra punched leaves or without the extra punched leaves?
Honestly? I can’t decide.

What a great handmade card idea!
Both are very pretty cards. However, I like the card without the “punched” leaves better. I think it is the “punched” leaf itself that bothers me…why?…I don’t know, it just does.
Thanks. I think they’d go well on a different card. I really do like the other 2 step fern leaf.
