What kind of card do you think is the best kind of card?
- A birthday card?
- A get well card?
- An anniversary card?
- A sympathy card?
- A thinking of you card?
Which is your favorite kind of card to make? (This is where you can leave a comment below so you can be entered in this month’s drawing for commenters.)
Well, I think a card out of the blue – any kind of card that makes your friend feel unexpectedly special because you thought of them – THAT’S the best kind of card.
It has the best impact. It’s an unexpected surprise.
How can it get better than that?
Imagine if you got a card in a box? Yep. You could flatten this out to send it to your special friend, but wouldn’t it be extra impressive if she received it in a small box?
We have over 135 Thinking of You card ideas here that we’ve shared. Why not sit down and make someone special a card right now?
Did you notice that we used the leftover bit of cardstock from where Ann cut out the succulent.
Isn’t that what crafting is all about? Taking a bit of something leftover and repurposing it for something new?
Yes, that IS a bit amazing! A card that makes its own leftovers and you use them too!

What a great handmade card idea!
This card could be used for so many different occasions. Love the colors.
Ilove the contrast of color! Beautiful,. simple card….my favor
ites!
I love this card! I think anyone would enjoy receiving that one in the mail! For me, I’d appreciate ‘getting’ a “Thinking of You” kind of card but as far as ‘making’ them, I enjoy creating Birthday cards. Every birthday needs to be celebrated and recognized….they are gifts themselves!
