What inspires you when you sit down to make a card? Do you decide the layout first? The color? The stamps?
This time, I suggested a layout to Ann first. Because we make many of our cards for sharing with you, the type of greeting isn’t always thought of until we’ve made the card.
That is, unless we need a specific type of card.
But with this card, here’s how it went (at least this time):
Planning a Handmade Card
- Picked a layout.
- Decided on a color combination.
- Selected a stamp set.
- Decided on an Embossing Folder & Framelits (which are on sale right now).
- Made the card.
I did the first 4 things. Ann took care of #5. It’s that thing about not having opposing thumbs that hinders me sometimes.
And I hope you like how it turned out!
