I can’t believe it’s been 5 days since my typist did her job. But she had a good excuse.

It was her left index finger and was bandaged all week. AND she was in Las Vegas!

What Happens in Vegas….

doesn’t always stay in Vegas.

Ann didn’t share too much while she was gone to Leadership in Las Vegas – what Stampin’ Up! now calls Backstage.

So Let Me Share What I Know

Ann’s flight was cancelled and she chose to go 2 hours earlier. Good thing! Otherwise, she might still be there waiting. Many of the flights were late, but hers was only delayed 30 minutes.

What Happens in Vegas

The whole Backstage event was cowboy (or cowgirl) themed. And when she got there, she ran into her friend, Kevin from the home office. Here’s a picture with him and her friends Alicia (left) and Karen (right),

You can click on any of the pictures to see them close up.

They gave everyone light colored bags. Everyone had them. There were general sessions and individual classes she could pick from.

She did get this one shot of those bags that made her chuckle.

I especially like this picture of her with Shelli. She did get a few minutes to chat with her and deliver a message from my favorite huMAN. Believe me. It’s always good to see Shelli who is the co-founder and now, the Chairman of the Board.

Ann also got to go down to the Sphere and see The Wizard of Oz. It was expensive, but very, very awesome. She had a great seat and sat with some very nice people. It was something you don’t easily forget.

It’s not like many of Stampin’ Up! events. There’s not as much stamping and swapping, but there’s a lot of chatting and eating and chatting and….

What Happens in Vegas

They let everyone design their own cowboy hat! 3 different brims to pick from. And then you can pick from lots of ribbons and decorations. Then you take your hat over to someone and they put it all together.

<<< Here’s the young lady completed Ann’s hat. And that’s no cheap hat!

That’s Ann’s hat she’s holding! She took the picture just before she had a little paw print branded on the brim on the front.

The January Mini

And she got a new copy of the January to June Mini Catalog that we’ll be sending out after Christmas. (It starts January 6th.) I wish I could show you the inside now but this pup only has so much pull.

I just know that Ann’s got a long, long list and her Sweet Treat selections written on paper. They’re just not into the computer yet.

We’ll be sending them out after December 20th to everyone who’s shopped with us recently.

So, who’s going to go with Ann next time? She’s planning on going to the Stampin’ Up! convention in Long Beach, California.

There will be lots of stamping and swapping at that one – as well as the chatting and eating and whatever.

It’s only open to Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators, but you’ve got time to join our team before registration opens November 25th.

It sold out last year in Raleigh and may sell out again this year.

We’d love to have you join us!
