I’m so glad that my typist returned today with a flower card that she made.
It’s been a heck of a couple of weeks without her. She’s been sharing a bit on our Facebook page, but wasn’t able to type for me as much as she usually does when she escapes the premises.
She had a great time visiting Amsterdam, Germany, Switzerland and Lake Como in Italy. They were planning this for a long time. And it was part of the reason that Ann didn’t go to the Stampin’ Up! Mexico trip. She earned it, but couldn’t see two trips in one year.
She came home yesterday afternoon. Right after she got home, there was a thunderstorm here. And then last night, she started to get dizzy. Probably something to do with her sinuses and ears.
What Do You Do Then?
What do you do when you’re not feeling well or not feeling inspired or don’t have enough time? Here’s our answer: grab a kit!
The Garden of Thanks Kit makes nine cards. If you make them like the instructions show, you’ll make three cards that don’t require stamping like today’s flower card.
The other six cards are two designs that have some stamping and some die cuts – three each of two different designs.
And they all come with everything you need to make them:
- Stamps
- Ink (Misty Moonlight Ink Spot)
- Adhesives (Dimensionals & Glue Dots)
- Embellishments
- Die Cuts
- Acrylic Block
- Card Bases & Coordinating Envelopes
Kits make a great gift to give to someone who would like to craft but doesn’t know where to start. Or for someone that doesn’t have a lot of time to invest in a craft.
They are also the perfect thing to have on hand for the beginning, intermediate or avid crafter. They’re perfect to have on hand for those times that you just can’t make a card.
Many of them, like this one, have stamps and inks that you can continue to use long after the kit projects are completed.
