Making a July Birthday Card

The fireworks were going off yesterday and we needed a July birthday card. Yes! There are people who are born on the 4th of July and they need to be honored!

This celebration was in honor of a young lady who turned 16. What this young lady didn’t know was that Ann would’ve loved to have her birthday on July 4th! Everyone’s happy. There are fireworks. And this time, we had an ice cream cake made with the same recipe that we shared on our Facebook page last week!

The cake was more than enough to feed 9 adults, a teenager and 2 children in elementary school.

Normally, Ann would’ve used a darker blue than Balmy Blue, but she was trying to color match a Target gift card – with no luck. This is as close as she could get it.

It was the first time that Ann used the Round We Go bundle. I can assure you that it won’t be the last! It was so much more fun than Ann anticipated and she was glad she got it.
