You may have seen whitewash before, but have you tried to make a textured whitewash card?
We tried it on yesterday’s live stream and I like it!
In another couple months, these 5 colors will retire after two years of faithful service. And we picked three of them to feature in yesterday’s card.
The two main colors were Just Jade and Misty Moonlight with a Magenta Madness flower. Just Jade and Misty Moonlight is one of Ann’s favorite blue/green combinations.
We know that all 5 of these colors will retire the beginning of May, but will be on the short list by the end of March. After that, it’s while supplies last.
Just like every year at this time, Ann recommends to get your ink refill and cardstock for these colors now so you won’t miss out by waiting.
Ann whitewashed the large flower and, on a lark, whitewashed another one in the top left corner. Once dry, she ran it through the Gingham 3-D embossing folder.
The bird was easy. Ann had colored it with classic reinkers and a blender pen. At least, that’s how she remembers it. She made it a few weeks ago and kept it on the desk just waiting for the right card to come along.
You can watch her make it and pick up some extra tips here on YouTube. It was very easy. She could even put together complete sentences while she was doing it!
And what’s really special is that you an get this stamp set for free with a $100 order. Stampin’ Up! will even throw in some coordinating Designer Series Paper to go with it!
