All is well with the world now that my favorite huMAN is another year older.
They didn’t celebrate much because Ann was busy deciding what she wanted to wear in Houston since it may rain a lot. (She’s from Washington state where they usually don’t carry umbrellas.) So you can understand when the weather may be 20 degrees warmer and much wetter.
So Tell Me, Which Cake?
I’m putting the cart before the horse if you haven’t seen yesterday’s live stream replay, but the two cards were made with almost identical supplies.
Now, if you want to watch the video, you can watch the replay here on Youtube. Or you can watch it below.
It was so nice to be able to share birthday cards that some of you sent to my favorite huMAN. What a great way to score points with Ann! (I’m just barking here.)
He thought the card she made on yesterday’s stamp show was for him, but it was not. Ann made him the card that we shared in this post.
But, other than the cake being a little off kilter, it was fun showing how she threaded that distressed gold specialty paper on the card front.
Honestly, it’s not that far off. And he loved it. But which do you like better? Please scroll down and leave a comment so we know your preference.
The cardmaking supplies are almost identical so you can’t get much closer than that. And yet, they look so much different!
Are you on our newsletter list? You know you are if you are getting a cardmaking tutorial in your inbox every week – usually on Tuesday. You can join here.
Why? Because besides that, you can hear about things like the special we’re offering our newletter readers this week while Ann’s “learning new things” with Stampin’ Up!. Sure. That’s what she tells us, but I know she’s hanging out with her friends.
