A Little Birthday Cheesecake

What kind of cake would you like for your birthday? Chocolate? How about a little birthday cheesecake?

Now, this isn’t just any cheesecake. Chocolate on the bottom layer and berries on top of the cheesecake layer.

It’s not for dogs, but that’s how I see it.

I like the way that Ann wove the Distressed Gold paper in between the cake and the border layer below it. Don’t you agree?

Ann used one of the 2022-2024 IN Colors that will be retiring the end of next month along with one that will stick around as it’s from the 2023-2025. Starry Sky is going away soon. Copper Clay is staying around another year.

In fact, if you have any of these in your stash, I wouldn’t wait to stock up. They will be retiring next month for sure. They may be discounted, but that usually means that they sell out fast. Reinkers and cardstock are first on my list, but it’s different for everyone despending on how much you have on hand.

What Would You Like on Your Cheesecake?

The cool thing about stamping is that you can make the berries any color you like. Sweet Sorbet would a good one. Real Red. Berry Burst. What color berries would you put? And you can also use some of the other stamps to decorate the top of the cake. Frosting decorations, candles, flowers…you name it.
