Making an Encouraging Card

Ann had such a great time yesterday making an encouraging card with a stamp set that many of you may not have seen before. Well, unless you noticed the one that we featured in this post the other day.

As usual, Ann had the card in her head, but some of the important touches came from our viewers. We haven’t added a layer for the greeting like Ann had planned, but it hasn’t been mailed yet!

Maybe Ann was inspired by an old card she did years ago. She ran across it here on my YouTube channel. They’re not the same. The other card was done ten years ago! But the video is short and I have a starring role in the end.

But today’s card is so much better once Ann put that ink pad on the patterned paper to give it some full strength Sweet Sorbet ink.

It’s hard to believe that the paper was white and black. It looks so red. Or rather, so Sweet Sorbet. And it’s even harder to believe that the other side of that paper has zoo animals inside.
