We never want to make a card to say goodbye, but our dear friend is leaving for a good reason.

We’ve known Jonathan for several years. We’ve seen him grow up to be a fine young man. He’s been to Ukraine to teach English. He went away to college and now he’s found a job that he’s been called to do. He’s going to be a missionary to Armenia.

He’s leaving in the next few days so we made sure to drop by his going away soiree.

But first, Ann had to make him a card.

He said that no one had made him a card before. He know that Ann worked with rubber stamps. However, he didn’t realize that she made cards.

And we’re sharing this with you today because we almost didn’t buy this set. We almost missed it. It’s on page 115 of the Stampin’ Up! 23-24 Catalog. It seemed perfect for the occasion.

Saying Goodbye to Jonathan

We’ve never known a missionary before they became a missionary, but this seems the right path for Jonathan. He was always helpful, even as a young guy. He’d come and help the seniors at their potluck.

We liked him as a young kid and we love the young man he’s grown up to be.

Now, I must say that this pup wasn’t in love with the new colors when they first came out. But now, we can’t keep away from them! And they’re perfect for man cards.

We’ll show you the inside, but I’ll warn you that Ann smudged out the words she wrote. We just want you to see the greeting that goes with the greeting on the outside.
