Easy and quick, today we’re featuring a silhouette thank you card.
You know, recently, one of our younger friends was saying that she thought that people didn’t write thank you cards anymore. Well, that’s okay for some humans, but it’s not okay for this dog.
Attitude of Gratitude
Don’t you think that the world would be a better place if we all looked for the good in things? Let’s call it an attitude of gratitude. And thank you cards is not only an acknowledgement of a nice thing done, but it’s almost like giving a gift in returnn – especially when it’s handmade.
Now, I know that Ann has no problem making cards. And she loves to inspire other people, like you, to make cards. But she does tend to stumble getting them to the post office.
It’s a good thing that my favorite huMAN doesn’t mind dropping them off at the mailbox!
Let’s Make This as Easy as Possible
Now, I must share that this card looks much better in real life. Some things just don’t photograph as well – like sponging or using the Blending Brushes like she did here.
Originally, she was just going to use the Wild Wheat for blending, but after the card was made, it seemed like it needed something. The card was already done, so once the Boho Blue was added, we couldn’t erase it.
And I think it makes the Wild Wheat look more like a sun, don’t you think?
We love the Pebbled Path making the silhouette on this thank you card. It’s softer than black.
You Can Make This Silhouette Thank You Card!
So let’s look at what supplies you’ll need to make your own version of this card. Between the time we made this card and the time my typist is doing her job, the Tropical Leaf stamp set may no longer be available. But it is available now!
