How to Make a Masculine Birthday Card

We think it’s harder than it is, but today, I’m going to bark about how to make a masculine birthday card.

Many of these suggestions really apply to all cards, but this is what we did when Ann made this card for a friend of our family.

In this case, we thought about how our friend loves the Pittsburgh Steelers. We picked Wild Wheat and Basic Black because black and gold are the team colors for the Steelers.

So now, we’ve covered two things! First, think about what type of hobbies your recipient has. We could’ve picked some of our friends hobbies. He likes Star Wars and Marvel movies. We could’ve picked one of those.

Think about color. What’s his favorite color? Or like we did, we used the color of his team.

Another thing I’d like you to think about is the font, It doesn’t have to be as bold as the font in today’s card, but a bold font can give a more masculine feel to a card.

There is No Hard and Fast Rule

You can give what we might call a masculine card to anyone. Ann happens to like today’s card as it’s her high school colors. but no matter who you give a card to, thinking about all these things will help make your card a hit with its recipient.
