Our last Stamp & Play Day was so much fun that Ann made two cards from the one layout.

She actually laid them out one way that night, but when she finally assembled them, she mixed them up a bit. I think I like them better this way.

First, the Thank You Card

For the two cards, she used the Petal Park Bundle and the same color combo: Coastal Cabana and Bermuda Bay. But for this thank you card, she added the Sentimental Park Bundle for the greeting and the fancy die cut where she stamped the word.

She also used one of the Basics 3-D Embossing Folders. Unfortunately, it’s sold out now, but we’re expecting them back in stock around May 1st when the new catalog starts.

And we used the Flat Adhesive-Backed Pearls that she’s so fond of. Those aren’t one the second card.

If you like this card (and we hope you like the second one I’ll show you too), then you should consider reserving your seat for our next Stamp & Play Day on Thursday, April 20th.

The Theme?

Ladies Night Out!

Stamp & Play Day

Yes! We make a card together then we play games and Ann gives away all the class fees. The smallest prize is usually about $30 and can go up to $75 or more depending out how many attend.) It’s about 75-90 minutes of pure fun.

And when you register today, you’ll get in at the Early Bird rate of $17.

Now, the Birthday Card

You’ve just gotta love that Petal Park Bundle.

At first, I thought that the stamped tone-on-tone flowers made the card a little busy. That’s why I had Ann switch the greetings. This simple circle tones down some of that busyness.

For this, Ann used the Iridescent Rhinestones as the embellishment.

And did you notice the new birthday greeting? It’s from the Rhino Ready Online Exclusive Stamp Set.

Ann even decorated the inside! I know she doesn’t often show this, but she does do it!

Time-Saving Cardmaking Tip

A white or vanilla liner always looks better on a colored card base. Save time by cutting several liners and having them ready. Plus, if you make a mistake, you haven’t ruined your card. And you can make the liner whatever size you want depending on how much you have to say and how large you write. We like to use these two sets of dies.
