Each time I look at today’s purple thistle card, I like it a little bit more. Ann googled what color thistles are but she’d already colored it a bit.

This is how it turned out.

While it may not be actually the correct color for a thistle, it is in the right color family. And it was nice getting out our Stampin’ Blends.

This is one of the rare instances where Ann used a color for the card base that is not used elsewhere in the card. Can’t count the embellishment because those are the Polished Pink from the 21-23 IN Color Opal Rounds that are going away next month.

She could’ve used the Fresh Freesia ones to match the cardstock we used, but she picked the Polished Pink ones because they had more color.
