Today’s Gnome Valentine card is very simple, but wait until I share some tips with you!
This card almost reminds me of the cards we used to make. It has a simple layout and seems like one that Ann’s pulled from an old box. It actually feels like a card that someone made other than Ann.
But I looked down from Heaven and saw her make it last night!
She punched out the clouds with the same cloud punch she used on yesterday’s card. Then she used a Blending Brush to swish some Starry Night ink around the edges of two of them. She stamped the greeting in Starry Sky too.
How to Attach Vellum Invisibly
People are always looking for some magic adhesive to disappear between vellum and cardstock. This pup hasn’t found one yet, so we hide it behind other layers. We hid it behind the clouds and the gnome using Seal+.
What Do Blue and Yellow Make?
By now, you know that Ann likes to use Stampin’ Up!’s alcohol markers, Stampin’ Blends, to color. But she had something different happen with this project. I think she used Pumpkin Pie or Daffodil Delight to color around the edges of the hat. So when she added the Starry Sky (or Orchid Oasis), the yellow areas turned green!
You can see it in the picture above. Is that bizarre?
Ann’s not positive on the exact colors she used, but you get the gist. And, of course, she used Tuxedo Black Memento Ink and Shimmery White cardstock.
