Day After World Card Making Day

Did you participate in Stampin’ Up!’s World Card Making Day online event? I hope you did, because it was fantastic!

They shared a new unreleased stamp set that will be available to demonstrators on October 4th.

They had 3 projects that you could make along with them. The first was co-founder Shelli Gardner with CEO Sara Douglass working together to make a card. You could just watch or make it along with them with your own stamps and stuff.

This was their card.

This is not exactly like their card. Ann only changed three things:

Crumb Cake card base instead of Basic White
She rolled up the ends of the greeting and put in under the flower instead of over it.
She used Champagne Rhinestones instead of what they used.

I like it. I like it a lot.

Ann had never put Mint Macaron on a leaf with Old Olive, but we like that too – just like the ombre look of the flower.

After this card, they took us behind the scenes to show how the artists design the cards and dies. One of the artists showed how to make the second card. Then our friend Corey did projects along with her daughter.

The only problem is that this set has been so popular that the dies are not available until later this month.
