What a day it was yesterday!

The plan?

Share an Easter card and maybe an Easter basket on Facebook Live and YouTube.  (You can watch it on YouTube here.)

But if you’d like a reminder before we go Live again on Facebook, you can get on the reminder list here.

Reality?

Oops!  Only the Easter Basket made the cut yesterday.  But that’s okay.  We’re going to do another live event sometime today or tomorrow depending on her eye checkup.  (Last time they dilated her eyes so much that they were wide open for over 5 hours!)

And how about we’ll share a nice basket card today?  It’s going to be raining hard here for the next two days.

The only way you can get this stamp set and embossing folder is FREE.  Yep.  For a limited time, you can get this Blossoming Basket stamp set and Basket Weave Dynamic Embossing Folder bundle for free with a $100 order.  It comes in a wood bundle and as a clear mount bundle.

SWEET!

But you might be wondering where I found a copper heart.  Are you?

Stampin’ Up! doesn’t sell them, but I’m a very enterprising dog.

See it?

Ann’s been busy applying my new designs to our 24/7 Stampers website.  That’s a private site that we have for Ann’s demonstrator team that is spread all over the United States and Puerto Rico.

It was really time for a refresh and a good place to try out some new ideas that we’ll be applying to my site this fall.  Ann’s a little rusty on site design so I want her to get lots of practice in before we start on this one.

I only want the best for you!

How Did She Color That Heart?

Ann used the same thing to color the gold heart from the Metallic Enamel Shapes with a Calypso Coral Dark Stampin’ Blend Marker.  (She tried the light one first, but it wasn’t dark enough.)

I think it looks pretty good for faux copper, don’t you?  It really compliments the Copper Foil Sheets we used for a small strip on the left side.

The best way we like to color is with the Stampin’ Blends.  We used them with Watercolor Paper and Tuxedo Black Memento Ink:

Of course, you can always purchase the entire set of Stampin’ Blends and score some free Sale-A-Bration items like the bundle we’re using today.

Finding an Easter Greeting was harder.

She didn’t look hard enough.  The “Happy Easter” greeting from the You’re Inspiring stamp set that we used in this post would’ve worked fine.  (We sure do love that Daffodil Set.)

Instead, Ann chose a set full of greetings called Thoughtful Banners.  It’s photopolymer so you can curve the letters to fit the banners and coordinating punches.

Having a coordinating Classic Label Punch is handy!
