It sure does pay to try new things when you’re playing with your stamping supplies.

We did last night and discovered something new!

But first, here’s the card.

Elegant Christmas Card

Isn’t it elegant?  It hardly took any time to make!  And I think it was time to dust off our Heat Tool.  It’s been far too long since we heat embossed anything!

When’s the last time you got out your magic little Heat Tool?

Elegant Christmas Card

Psst! Want to make yesterday’s ornament with us? We’ll be making it tomorrow @ 1pm on Facebook and You Tube. You can make it with us when you bring your Liquid Glue and a 6″x6″ piece of DSP cut into 1/2″ x 6″ strips.

Now, do you want to know what we learned making this card?

Well, maybe you knew, but….

We cut the vellum piece 2-1/2″ wide and 4-1/4″ long.  We thought about using the scissors to make a banner end at the bottom, but my keen instinct got me to try something…. and it worked!

I told Ann to carefully insert the Cardstock Vellum into the punch.  It’s too wide for the 2″ channel so she carefully inserted it over the channel and into the blade area – and it worked!

How to Make an Elegant Christmas Card

I don’t think that it would work with card stock, but it works with Cardstock Vellum and it would probably work with Designer Series Paper.

But what does one do about the tale?

It’s easy!  Just get out the Paper Snips and give them a little cut!

I’ll bet you can do that just before you run it through the Oh My Stars Embossing Folder!

While Supplies Last

Here’s a list of what we used to make this card that is going away soon.

Yep!  you can get the stamp set until  the 20th, but everything else is while supplies last.

And here’s everything else that we used.
