We’re posting late today because our first attempt at this card just wasn’t up to my high standards for sharing.

Yep.  Every now and then – not often – Ann makes a card that does not meet this dog’s standards.

When we get a card, we love it!  We’re not critiquing it.  That just wouldn’t be right.

But when we share a card, well, I want to like it A LOT!  and I do like this birthday card for your favorite paint ball participant.

Of course, my favorite huMAN liked it because there’s a lot of blue on it.

Birthday Card Idea

Both cards had these colors and stamp set, but we had THREE “happy”s on there.  Sweet Sugarplum was just one too many colors so we cut that happy out!

This could be made with just one stamp set – Happy Celebrations – but we liked the two splatters in Gorgeous Grunge to not use them.

Here’s a color combo that we haven’t used before.  We thought it was perfect for this paint ball birthday card:

  • Tempting Turquoise
  • Emerald Envy
  • Dapper Denim

Those fine ink splatters from Gorgeous Grunge are perfect in Dapper Denim and it make that stamp set a keeper!  (I can’t believe it’s on the retirement list!

And we hope that you’ve got Gorgeous Grunge already!  It’s a type of set that Ann keeps for later.  She likes to stock up on texturing stamps that help you add a collage type feeling to your project because you can’t find them everywhere.

I know you like your shopping list, so here it is.
