I’m so excited!  Some of our local 24/7 Stampers are coming over for a shoebox swap!

It’s a new year and we’ve got new people and a new great room that’s better lit for better stamping.  This is good on so many levels!

At a shoebox swap, everyone brings their one card with parts cut so everyone else will make their card.  Then they laugh, eat, learn and chat until they’re all done.

Of course, adoration of the dog is a requirement.

Because we have 24/7 Stampers all over, we’ve also got some people mailing their finished cards in and the locals are bringing finished cards for them too.  You should see the cards we got from such exotic places as Pittsburgh and Puerto Rico.  And one of the stampers has been published in stamping magazines.

But ALL the cards that came in the mail are AWESOME!  So I guess you might want to see what I designed for Ann.

Stampin' Up! Swap Card

I must say that while Ann used all the stuff I told her to, it doesn’t look ANYTHING like what I’d originally dreamed up….except for the girl dancing in front of the buildings.  You may notice that we used the new Watercolor Pencils and the same stamp set we used in yesterday’s card.

Stampin' Up! Swap Card

I hope you love this card as much as I do.  And I hope that the stampers love it even more than that!

Two of the stampers that Susan is bringing don’t even have their kit yet!  (unless they got it yesterday)  We’re serving lunch as soon as everyone gets here.  Then it’s on to stamping.  And that’s when everyone gets to share ideas and pick Ann’s brain.

I’ll do my best not to interrupt.

Wouldn’t you like to join us next time?  You can discover more about how you can become a 24/7 Stamper here.

  • During Sale-A-Bration they’ve added your choice of any TWO stamp sets to the value priced Starter Kit
  • There’s still time to register for the On Stage Local events in April.  (There may be one near you!)
  • This is one of the few jobs where you can make money, help a lot of people and have a ton of fun doing it.  It just makes sense!

At least it did for us.

And you can start in minutes by using the handy tips that Ann has shared here.

Here’s what Ann used to make this card.  (If you’re reading this in your email, you can view the picture supply list here.)

We appreciate our online shoppers so much that we send them a handmade card!  And if you use the latest hostess shopping code, we’ll include a small gift with your card!  We always list the latest code in the right hand column and you can also see it here.
