Sending a Flowery Sunshine Card

Can you tell that we’re a bit excited about the new stamps and stuff that will be released tomorrow? We’re continuing our sneak peek by sending a flowery sunshine card.

We held off playing with these. But once we broke them out, we are in love! And you can only view them in our online store starting tomorrow.

She dusted off an old technique and put our spin on it – the spotlight technique.

Spotlight Technique

Many times, you can see the spotlight technique used by stamping the same large image on a smaller piece of cardstock. Then color only the smaller piece and layer it over the larger image, lining up the images so that they flow together.

Instead, this time, Ann chose to just color a few flowers and call it good. You can see that she only colored them in a specific area, still spotlighting only that area.

The greeting came from a new set available tomorrow, Springtime Scenes #167457. The big beautiful background stamp is new too: Flowers Fair #167217. We can’t do links to them today, but you’ll be able to find them here in the New Arrivals Section starting after midnight tonight Mountain Time.
