Do you ever want to buy someone a gift card from a restaurant or store only to find out that they only do certificates?

Have you found it hard to make a gift card holder when it’s a gift certificate instead?

We’ll we’ve got the perfect solution!  (Partly because Ann and I offer gift certificates for Stampin’ Up! products.)

BAG IT!

GiftBag

You might have missed these cool Polka Dot Tag a Bag Gift Bags on page 201 of the Annual Idea Book and Catalog.  They’re just $3.95 for 10 of them.   They go with the Tag a Bag Accessory Kit or you can do what we’ve done and decorate them with what we had.

And what’s perfect is that they are 5″ wide so you can put a finished card and envelope inside with your gift certificate.  You can leave a comment here on what YOU would put in it.

While they are food safe, we would recommend the Petite Cafe Gift Bags in the Holiday Seasonal Catalog if you’re giving cookies, unwrapped candy or food.  Why?  Because the Petite Cafe Gift Bags are lined so that any grease won’t soak through to the outside of the bag.  (We had that happen with Teddy Grahams once.)

You can find the Weekly Deals here, but here’s what we used to make this fast and fabulous bag.  It’s the perfect size to keep around for any small gift.

We used the new Handheld Stapler to close the bag and a Glue Dot to attach the ribbon – just to be perfectly clear.
