It’s Friday!  And maybe naked is better!

A few days ago we shared this card with a wheel feature in this post.  Everyone liked it except….. even with SNAIL all the way around the focal point, it just didn’t want to stick!  (We’ll be covering WHY that happened and how to prevent it below the picture of the naked card.)

It’s hot here this week so maybe naked is better!

Naked Pink Butterflies

The weather probably factored in a little, but the mail reason for the adhesive fail was that SNAIL adhesive doesn’t like to stick to uneven surfaces.  It’s grrrreat for putting two pieces of flat card stock together, but as soon as you get some texture going on, your card could get naked too!

The heat embossing adds texture and makes the SNAIL work too hard.  Instead, Liquid Glue, Sticky Strip or Stampin’ Dimensionals are a better bet.

Ann and I only like cards that are SUPPOSED to be naked!  That’s why we never encourage scrimping on the SNAIL adhesive We don’t want you getting embarrassed when your friends get their card looking like puzzle pieces in their envelope.  And if you EVER get one from us like that when you get your thank you for shopping with us, you let me know!
