You must know by now that I'm not a frou-frou dog. I keep my hair short & in order. I'm lean & friendly & full of fun.
But last night, the dog treat was thrown & I was up to the challenge. Ann's been going nuts on these Stampin' Up! Rosettes. She showed a Rosette Valentine Card in this post. She did a couple videos over on The Master Stamper this week showing the finer points of the Stampin' Up! Designer Rosette Die for the Sizzix Big Shot.
Then last night she did a rosette card in an online workshop with our Sacramento Stampers. But this last one is different. She just did the bare bones & then said that she'd finish the card for today.
She challenged them all to make something from a scrap on their desk. Only the card base & black border layer on this card were from full card stock. All the rest were from scraps around our stamp room. Even though we didn't put a greeting on this, I think it would make the recipient feel pretty doggone special.
Those Baja Breeze Butterflies that were cast off from a live stamping session with the Master Stampers last month really set it off. Don't you agree? So I'm throwing out the same challenge to YOU! What little scrap on YOUR stamp table will be on your next card?
We're a bit behind because I've got an appointment with a photographer this afternoon. We'll have to tell you more about that soon. In the meantime, I think I'm going to call this Vintage Chic.
