HalloweenOrnament-LongLast month I allowed Ann to attend a dinner for the Advisory Board at the home of Stampin' Up! CEO & Co-Founder, Shelli Gardner.  (Shelli's one of my fav humans so it was the least I could do.)  While they were there, they had a gift exchange where everyone shared a small gift & scrapbook pages about themselves.  I'll share our scrapbook page tomorrow…or soon.

Some gave candy.  Ann got a really nice frame.  Ann gave a barking hand puppet that is almost as cute as me.  Wish she would've gotten me one.  She also gave some French Kisses which are only made here in Yuba City, CA the Prune Capitol of the world.  (or is that Capital?  Anyway, I digress.)

Shelli gave Ann some really nice things because she's a nice person.  But the really interesting thing was this cool handmade tag on the bag.  You can see everything in this picture on the right except for the little pearl down at the bottom hanging with the star.  But if you REALLY want to see it up close & personal, just click on this picture below.

Isn't it nice to get something handmade?  Honestly, Ann's just happy that Shelli can pick her out in a crowd of 8.  Imagine how she feels when Shelli MADE her something!

You can do that for your friends too.  It doesn't have to be as fancy, but handcrafted gifts touch the heart where nothing else can.

Come join us on October 24th when you can come over & make some heartfelt gifts to recreate for your friends.  You know….the kind that makes them feel REALLY special!
