Okay. It's only a little hit, but a hit nonetheless.
I had Ann do this card at the Cupcakes & Cardz Class at Cakes By Nancy. It was the favorite at this fun night where they do 3 cards in an hour. No rushing allowed! Just well planned. (you should join them next month on July 5th!)
The technique for this card is call Spotlighting. This is just one of a few ways to do the Spotlighting Technique. It's one of those one stamp set cards in Bravo Burgundy using the Stampin' Up! Elements of Style stamp set (Wood-#118611 Clear-#120045). That makes it great to share with your friends. (Check out how you can join our team here.)
So how did this card get hit by the Retired List? The spotlighted flowers are first colored in using an Apricot Appeal Marker #105107. (GRUFF! That's what's retiring!) Then she used a Pumpkin Pie Marker #105115 to color in the shadowed areas.
