Ann and my favorite huMAN have a birthday party to go to. Today’s pink cupcake birthday card is not going to match the gift, but we think this young gal will like it anyway.

We’re pretty sure she’s turning 9. Could be 8. In any case, we love the card and hope she will too. She makes cards with her mom and grandma so perhaps she’ll look at it an extra 10 seconds before it goes into a pile.

You know how kids are. It’s all about the toys!

Cardmaking Tips

  • The confetti is stamped with Pretty in Pink.
  • The twisted banner is stamped in Strawberry Slush.
    • Ann stamped the banner on the arched cupcake layer AND the card base at the same time.
    • Then she mounted the stamped layer onto the Secret Sea layer with Dimensionals.
    • Once those two layers are together, put liquid glue on the back of the Secret Sea layer and line it up onto the card base.
