Yellow Rose Sympathy Card

I know we did a similar card last week but Ann needed a yellow rose sympathy card this week. Today’s card is for one of her dear friends in the same women’s organization that has the yellow rose as their flower.

While we used many of the same supplies, it’s not the same card as the one shared in this post. We decided to switch things up a little.

Sharing a Little Secret

The plan was to have the background be plain Basic Beige. It just so happened that the Basic Beige scrap had a leaf stamped with Basic Beige on it. So, all of a sudden, a slight design change was implemented. She still embossed it with the Exposed Brick folder, but now there’s a little extra interest.

And, if you like to put 2 layers through the Exposed Brick Embossing Folder like we did, use Seal adhesive between the layers and Liquid Glue to attach the embossed layers to the card front. Just barking here.

Can you see the leaves? It’s a bit harder to see the brick, but it’s there. And you can really see it in real life.
