When I told Ann to make this Christmas gift card holder, I just knew that she’d turn it into a Christmas ornament as well. I just knew it.

That’s one of the cool things about crafting – you can multipurpose things if you want. Let me show you.

Ann used the 3rd largest die from the Everyday Arches dies to make 2 Real Red arches. I think she should make a video to show how she cut the front one so it would have a flap on the front.

It definitely didn’t go according to plan but she came through with some unique reworking to make it do what I wanted.

She used the 4th largest die to cut an arch from Basic White to put some writing on the back.

Colors Were Inspired by the Gift Card

Yep. That’s what we did.

Ann ordered the gift cards and was so happy when they came yesterday. Target designed the card with Real Red, Basic White and Shaded Spruce. So, of course, that’s what we used to make the holder

And she topped it off with her hairdresser’s initial on the front and some Antique Pearls on the flap.

Can you believe we didn’t use a bone folder or a trimmer on this project?
