Blue Birthday Card for Christmas

Do you know anyone with a Christmas birthday? We have a few near the day in Ann’s family so I had her make this blue birthday card for the one who celebrates on Christmas.

In the past, she’s made him traditional masculine cards with browns and greens. She’s made him cards with Christmas colors. But this time, she chose blue.

Crafters talk about making masculine cards, but what does that mean? Browns? Greens? Earthy tones?

I think we chose blue because he’s my favorite huMAN’s brother. And, if you’ve been ready my barks or watching our live streams for very long, you know that blue is my favorite huMAN’s favorite color.

And it will stand out against any Christmas cards he may have received.

Card Making Tip

If you look closely, you’ll notice that Ann runs two layers through the Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder together. She does that so that both layers shift together.

If you do run two layers together, don’t use Liquid Glue in between them as it might squish out the sides. And I don’t think you want that on your machine!

Instead, use something like our Stampin’ Seal and then use the Liquid Glue to attach the bonded layers to the card base.
