Have you ever seen a card that inspired you to make a card? That’s what happened with today’s simple Summer thank you card.
But we didn’t make one just like it, but we did use the fun fold. However, we’ve used this fold many times before and perhaps you have too. It’s so easy!
It’s really a simple layout. Just fold a half sheet of cardstock in half. Then fold the front back in half.
If you like measurements…
- A half sheet of cardstock is 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″
- Score at 2-1/8″ and 4-1/4″
- The fold the front back and there you have it.
Whether you fold manually like Ann often does or score at the measurements, be sure to use a bone folder on this one. That will help you make really sharp creases.
As you can see, you’ve got a long, narrow space to put your personal thoughts. And sometimes, that’s all you need.
We used the Glass and Gardens Embossing Folders on this now that they’re back in stock. They’re just the right size to use in both the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine and the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine. Ann cut that embossed part 2″ wide and 5-3/8″ long so it almost totally covers the folded back front.
